-You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
-This curriculum can be physically, mentally and emotionally draining. You must be ready to fully participate in the demands and maturity of this program.
-An applicant must be able to support the group learning process.
-Yoga Experience: at minimum, you must have been practicing yoga for at least a year at home or in a studio.
Applicants must be on time and fully prepared to participate in the teachings. Any disrespect towards teachers, professionals and other students will result in removal from program. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and welcome people of all diversity backgrounds and sexual orientations.
CERTIFICATION: At least a 200-hour yoga teacher certification is required to be eligible for certification. If you are currently working towards your yoga teacher certification, please inform us. In addition to the two, multi-day intensives, there are (10) hours of additional class observation and journaling, (10) hours of student teaching and journaling, and (5) hours of homework. Sweet Pea’s Studio is a Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS) with Yoga Alliance, and fulfills Yoga Alliance Certification Curriculum and Requirements. You will receive a certificate upon completion.
TUITION AND FEES: All fees must be paid in full before the first day of the training, unless other arrangements have been made. See refund policies below.
REFUNDS: All tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if the applicant is not accepted by the school before enrollment. An application fee of $100 shall be retained by the school if the applicant is denied for any reason. Refunds for withdrawal of the application by the student are granted in full, less the $100 application fee, up until 48 hours before the first day of training. Once the program begins, no refunds will be granted for any reason. There will be no exceptions.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I recognize that I must be in good physical and mental health to participate in this program. I understand that the program may require intense physical exertion, and I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition which would prevent my full participation in the program. I recognize that the program may cause or aggravate a physical injury or medical condition. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician before my participation in the program. If I have done so, I have taken the physician’s advice. I understand that the program reserves the right to refuse my participation on medical, physical or emotional wellness grounds. I will not hold the released party responsible if I am to suffer from any physical injury or exacerbation of condition while participating in this program. I understand my physical limitations and I am sufficiently self-aware to stop physical activity before I become injured.
In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the program, I knowingly and voluntarily waive any “claim” (legal action, fees, etc.) I may have against Sweet Pea’s Studio, its owners, managers, teachers, workshop presenters, employees, independent contractors and staff, for any claim that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.
I hereby understand that the program will have photography or video taken during the training for marketing purposes. I hereby give consent to the use of my image that may appear in any such marketing on behalf of Sweet Pea’s Studio.
